While conceptually simple in
operation, video cameras and digital video recorders are decidedly
hi-tech equipment composed of some of today's most interesting and
technically challenging technologies: CCD/CMOS image sensors; video
processing, compression, encoding and decoding; massive hard disk drive
storage; complex control and data management; Internet, networking
(Ethernet) and real-time embedded systems technology and intuitive
graphical user interfaces.

team-oriented, hard-working Software professionals to work on these
innovative, leading-edge products.
Job
Description
-
Work closely with technical lead to analyze project areas, refine
software features, and develop novel technical solutions
-
Develop high quality software specifications; design and implement
medium/high complexity modules
-
Develop rigorous unit, system and functional tests for modules
Desirable
Skill Sets
- 4+
years of Linux Device Driver development experience in
C/C++ is a must
-
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell programming, Vi/Emacs, and
perl/python/tcl scripting is a must
-
Exposure to version control(CVS/SVN/Clearcase), makefiles is a must
-
Experience in video data manipulation, management of hardware events
and video device drivers preferred
-
Experience using debugging & code analysis tools to develop
high quality software
-
Knowledge of real-time embedded systems and experience with
hardware-software integration would be an advantage
-
Effective at multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and able to
complete tasks with minimal supervision
